The beloved May Long weekend tradition, the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair, returns on May 19^th until May 22^nd. There are only 5 days left to get your best Cowboy and Cowgirl gear on and head to the grounds for an action-packed weekend of family fun. Canada is celebrating its 150^th birthday so visitors can look forward to fireworks, more competitions, more food, and more live entertainment for all.

The best national and international athletes in the world of rodeo are ready to compete for a total of $328, 000 in cash prizes as the Cloverdale Invitational Rodeo will feature four rough stock rodeo events: Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, and Ladies Barrel Racing.There are new additions to this year’s Rodeo as well. Two specialty performers – Vancouver based and BCCMA nominated, female vocalists, The Heels, and trick riders Hearts of the West will be making their debut.

Families will have a blast in the Country Fair with the Envision Financial Kidz Zone, ConeZone and Agri Zone. S&R Sawmills West Coast Lumberjack Show, the BC Country Music Association Pavilion, sixth annual World Freestyle Round-Up Skateboarding Competition, B.C.’s largest travelling Midway, and the beautiful Art Knapp Outdoor Living Pavilion are must stop attractions for visitors of all ages.

The Longhorn Saloon, open daily from 4pm to 2am to the 19+ crowds, is excited to present performances by Ettinger & Big 50 and the Chris Buck Band all weekend. For one night only, on Sunday May 22^nd, fans will be thrilled to welcome 2017 Juno nominated country singing star, Aaron Pritchett. From 9:30pm-11:00pm, Aaron will be rocking the stage with such anthems as “Hold My Beer” and hits off his newest album The Score.
