The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is open and all the fun, food and festivities have officially begun.
This May Long weekend, the world’s top cowboys and cowgirls are ready to compete for a one of the largest cash payouts in Canada during four main events: Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Bareback and Ladies Barrel Racing. Cloverdale’s youngest riders will get their chance to shine when Mutton Bustin’ takes centre stage during all five Rodeo performances.
It is not too late to grab your tickets to check out the rodeo events as well as all of the fun and excitement offered at the Country Fair. Returning favorites the Longhorn Saloon and British Columbia Country Music Association’s (BCCMA) impressive Boots and Buckles pavilion are back and have created an amazing entertainment district within the fairgrounds where adults can dance the night away.
On Sunday, May 22nd, 2016- Chad Brownlee, Pro Hockey Player turned Country Singer will be performing at the Longhorn Saloon. Beat-the-line tickets will be available until 9 pm and are only being sold on-line.
For the kids, the Envision Financial Kidz Zone features a variety of fun for little cowboys and cowgirls. And don’t forget about the always entertaining Cone Zone and Agri Zone.
Other special performances featured this year are the breathtaking Express Clydesdales and professional trick rider and liberty horse entertainer, Niki Cammaert Flundra. These performances will happen alongside Twin Kennedy at the Rodeo’s halftime show.
