If you’re looking to start your summer with a big splash, I suggest heading to Cultus Lake Marina for a memorable day on the water.
Don’t own a boat or water toys? That’s okay, neither do we!
This Valley gem offers a great selection of boat, water skis, as well as board and jet-ski rentals at various hourly rates. VM Tip: Go with another family or two during the week and split the cost to make it more affordable.
Our whole family had a blast on Cultus Lake Marina’s pontoon, which fits 13 people comfortably.
Molly and Zoe 5 had never been on a smaller boat before, so I’ll be honest, I was pretty nervous about how the day would go.
Fortunately, I had nothing to worry about – neither bambina went overboard and didn’t fuss about wearing the mandatory lifejackets that came with the rental.
Aside from getting to drive the boat around the lake, a big highlight for myself was riding the waves in an inner tube. Okay, I was actually terrified at first, but it was quite the rush. Even Molly and Zoe took a turn in the tube with Daddy.
With the tunes cranked, the sun shining, great company and picturesque scenery, a day on the water was just what this Valley Mom needed to kick off summer.
