My favourite beauty items for 2015!

Happy New Year everyone! It is hard to believe that the holiday season has come and gone and a fresh new year has begun. Some people like to make resolutions, however I find they only work for me for the month of January then I’m over it. I find a resolution creates a lot of pressure when I would rather have ongoing goals in mind.

I do however want to spend a bit more time on myself this year. Last year was dedicated to learning about my new baby boy while balancing life with my almost four year old.  It’s time to get a bit of glam back in my life and hopefully make more excuses to put on a pair of stilletos.

To kick off the new year right, I have included my favourite new beauty items for 2015. I love these because they make big impact, are affordable and can boost your confidence to take on the world.

  1. Youniques Moonstruck 3D Fiber lashes mascara.

I have tried a lot of different mascaras out there but I find this gives a great result when wanting a bit more drama for daily lashes or for a night out. This is a natural product that is both hypoallergenic and vegan friendly. It lasts all day without raccoon eyes and also washes off super easy with cleanser. You can purchase it through a Younique presenter for $35.

I have posted a link below if you are interested in purchasing the product through me and also a tutorial for more insight.

  1. Rimmel Londons Kate lipsticks in #01 and #107.

Every girl needs a great red lipstick to compliment her wardrobe and make her feel like a babe. I love these 2 different reds, #01 has orange undertones and #107 berry undertones. They are long wearing and don’t get on your teeth or give you joker face. They retail for under $10.

garnier-bb-cream-500x500

  1. Garnier BB cream

This has been a favorite essential item for a while now. If I’m in a hurry and don’t have time for anything else, this helps even the skin tone, gives a little colour and coverage while nourishing your skin with moisture. It comes in light/med and med/dark and retails for around $20.

And there you have, I hope you enjoyed these suggestions and feel free to message me if you have any questions. We would love to hear what are your go to beauty products for the new year!
