A Fete Fit for a Queen at Historic Stewart Farm

It’s not every day her Majesty the Queen makes an appearance in South Surrey – so be sure to mark your calendar for the ultimate royal bash.

On Sunday, May 20th, Historic Stewart Farm will once again host the Royal Victorian Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a day of free fun for the whole family, including the chance to rub elbows with royalty… well, sort of.Historic Stewart Farm

“Once again we are looking forward to celebrating the late Queen Victoria’s birthday,” said Jerrilin Spence, curator at the historic site.

“Aside from being one of our biggest events of the year, it also marks the start of summer season here at the farm.”

The uncanny ‘faux’ queen will make a cameo to cut birthday cake (served with hand-churned ice cream) and grace visitors with selfies and royal portraits. Guests can also expect a variety of fun activities for all ages, including face painting, crafts for the kiddies to make and take home, and performances from the Vancouver Morris Men, Little Mountain Step & Clog, Brigadoon Highland Dancers and Saltire Scottish Country Dancers.
