Back-to-Fitness Fashion

There’s just something about the crisp fallen leaves, pumpkin spiced everything and cooler mornings that makes me really excited to fall back into a routine.

I’m not just talking about having my girls return to school and their extracurricular activities (well, I’m definitely feeling ready for that, too) — I’m eager to get back to eating healthy (no more nightly s’mores or Salt n’ Vinegar chips) AND start really toning up this mom bod.

Heck, if I’m going to continue this sobriety journey, I might as well look and feel amazing, healthy and strong, right?

Like many, I find that when I look good, I feel good — fitness fashion is not exception.

Since I recently stepped up my fitness game by joining Envie Fitness in Langley, I decided that it was also high time I picked up some adorable yet functional attire. Plus, think of all that money I’ve saved on forgoing my nightly wine habit.

Here’s what I’m sporting for my fall fitness regimen.

1) Adidas Logo Tee

Sportchek, $27.99 CAD

As a ginger, I always thought I was supposed to steer clear of pink – so not true. I’m a big fan of this adorable and super stretchy/breathable t-shirt from Adidas in Rose (also available in black).

2) FitBit alta HR in Fuschia

Sportchek, $169.99 CAD

My new Fitbit Alta HR wristband tracks my activity, sleep and exercise. The tap OLED display makes it easy to see my stats, time & notifications with ease.  With friendly reminders to move, I have found that the Alta HR has been really pushing me to meet my fitness goals, whether it’s at the playground chasing my girls around the field or at during my kickboxing class. Honestly, I have no idea how I have been living without one.

3) Nike’s Legend Tight Fit training pants with Dri-Fit Technology

Sportchek, $82.00 CAD.

Perfect support for any workout, I love how the Women’s Nike Power Legend Training Tight Fit hugs my curves for a locked-in feel that flatters my shape. Its ribbed back waistband and cuffs stretch with your body and help keep the tight in place. There’s also a bonded pocket on the inside of the waistband for small-item storage

Such a huge fan of the sporty street-chic vibe of this Women’s Nike Sportswear Crew, made with soft French terry, striped cuffs and an oversized fit for comfort. It’s perfect for those crisp fall nights while out walking our two dogs or dropping the girls off at school in the morning. It’s 82% Cotton and 18% Polyester.
