When it comes to row homes, there’s certainly no shortage in the Langley area. But with so many stunning  developments, how does one stand out?

YORK by MOSAIC in Willloughby seems to have discovered the perfect recipe — one that is very appealing to those seeking style and chic  living in ‘the Valley.’

Take one famous style blogger, whip up a brilliant Pinterest campaign and pepper in a room full of influential bloggers. The end result? A fabulous fete and a powerful social media blast that has everyone buzzing about this up and coming suburb of Langley.

To kick off the summer with good design and fresh inspiration, MOSAIC joined forces with lifestyle blogger Monika Hibbs from  The Doctor’s Closet and hosted the #idreamofYORK Pinterest campaign — participants were asked to pin pictures of what their dream dinner party would look like.

To make those inspirations come true, over 60 people, myself included, were invited to one of the row homes in Langley, where The Doctor’s Closet brought to life her dinner party inspiration.

While I knew with Monica at the helm of this project that the home would be tastefully decorated, I was blown away by every detail — both big and small. From the exquisite oak table set and eye-catching YORK sign in the living room to the lace wallpaper and soft palate of fresh colours, I could easily see myself calling YORK home-sweet-home.

In addition to the open layout and refreshing decor scheme, I enjoyed the nibbles and sips that were served. The icing on the cake, er… more like graham cracker on the marshmallow, was the s’mores bar on the patio, complete with chocolate and hot coals for roasting.
