Harlem Globetrotters — Family Night in the Valley

We’re always on the hunt for new and fun ways to spend our family fun night on Fridays — this past one was truly a memorable one for all for of us.

We had a blast at Abbotsford Centre watching the Harlem Globetrotters during their 2017 World Tour.

Our seats were in the 8th row, centre stage, which was nice and close to the action.

I’ll be totally honest, I’m not exactly a sports fan of any variety.  However, I do love the atmosphere  (Molly is exactly the same way).  The Harlem Globetrotters isn’t just about the game of basketball — it’s all about putting on one heck of an entertaining performance showcasing incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction.

Despite the fact that Molly and Zoe were a bit tired from their playdates earlier that afternoon, they didn’t stop laughing or take their eyes away from the show for a single second. There was so much going on that you’re kind of scared to look away in case you miss something.

For our girls, their favourite part was the giant inflatable globe who does a variety of neat tricks to music. Everyone was in hysterics!

For myself, I loved that this all-ages show kept all four of us entertained and left us with lots of wonderful memories to cherish.

After the game, the Globetrotter stars signed autographs and took photos with fans. At this point, Molly and Zoe were ready for bed, so we skipped that part and headed home.

Love that Abbotsford Centre is just a half-hour away from home, so we don’t have to cross any big bridges and break the bank for parking.Watching the Harlem Globetrotters at Abbotsford Centre
