Hot Spot

Twilight Drive-In

Originally introduced to North America in the early 30’s, the drive-in movie theatre has proven popular with motorists for decades.

And while most have vanished over the years, nearing extinction, the outdoor entertainment trend is still as popular as ever in the Fraser Valley.

As one of only three remaining outdoor theatres in B.C., the Twilight Drive-in, located in Aldergrove, is the ultimate blast to the past for all ages.

The theatre offers movie-goers new released features every weekend, traditional goodies in the lobby like popcorn, soda, hot dogs, candy, etc. — and perhaps the ultimate butter on the popcorn is the classic intermission jingle that is always met with happy honks ‘let’s all go to the lobby.’

So grab your significant other, bring along the kiddies, a cozy blanket and prepare to watch the stars under the stars in the comfort of your vehicle. Still not convinced? Here are 5 reasons you should go. Click HERE.

The Twilight Drive-In is located at 260 St. and Fraser Hwy. For more information, visit their website here, or call 604-856-5063.

Hidden Gem

Walnut Grove Water Park

Pack a shade tent or umbrella and a picnic — the Walnut Grove Water Park is a great spot in ‘the Valley’ to beat the heat. It’s also officially open after undergoing some repairs. Our clan loves to head there regularly throughout the summer months, and we certainly aren’t the only ones. Get there early to stake your spot and don’t forget the sunscreen! The water park is open 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m and is located at 9 Avenue & Walnut Grove Drive. For more info, click HERE.
