One of Canada’s largest holiday season shows, the 7th annualΒ West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace,Β is approaching on November 21, 22, and 23 at the TRADEX Trade & Exhibition Centre.
From books, food, toys, fashion and beauty to home decor steals, you’ll be sure to satisfy all your holiday shopping needs at the show.Β Here are some of the family-friendly activities you can take part it.
Santa’s Workshop
All of theΒ following activities are FREE Β for children young and old:
Make and Take Model Airplanes
Come and visit the Fraser Valley Model Clubβs Model Making Centre and have your child create his or her very own make and take airplane. Itβs a great interactive experience for children aged 8 and older.Β Model making will be available while quantities last, on Saturday & Sunday November 22 and 23 only.
Christmas Cookie Decorating
Kids can decorate and take home theirΒ very own Christmas cookie baked fresh by Santaβs Workshop Chef Nicole, and with the help of one of our Cookie Elves. Decorating will be available all three days.Β Check the schedule β limit one cookie per child.
Sand Art Creations
Create your very own make and take sand art in Santaβs Workshop courtesy of Sandart.ca. Available all three days at posted scheduled times.
Santaβs Mailbox
Write your very own letter to Santa and place it in his mailbox right here at Santaβs workshop with your friends from Lil Ol Craft Company. Available all three days of the show.
Toy Mountain
Make this Christmas a happy one for children in need byΒ dropping off a donation of an unwrapped toy.Β The good people at The Salvation ArmyΒ will then deliver these toys to less fortunate children in our community in time for Christmas morning.
Free Christmas Photo
New this year, the Elves will prepare the magicalΒ North Pole VillageΒ scenes and activities. Meet some of the Christmas characters featured this year, and enjoy a Free Christmas Photo courtesy of Giggle Booth Photos.
Choo-Choo
