The celebration of Fort Langley’s famous tart berry kicks off today — this is a fun-filled event you don’t want to miss.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday (Oct. 10), the streets of Fort Langley will be a buzz’ with lively entertainment, food trucks, child play areas, street vendors. It’s also the perfect opportunity to pick up a bag of fresh cranberries for your Thanksgiving meal (available at the Fort Langley Community Hall). And while you’re there, don’t forget to take a tour of the cranberry bog — it’s like one big crantini!
For those who don’t want to brave the hectic parking situation and traffic going in and out, there are free shuttles that run from Walnut Grove Secondary and Trinity Western University.
Oh, and I almost forgot. While you’re there, don’t forget to visit my Fraser Valley 5 cohost, Michael Thorne, over at the dunk tank. Thorne, along with his team at RE/MAX Litte Oak, are helping to raise money for local schools!
Have a wonderful time.
