BEES! Now Open at Museum of Surrey

Have you heard the buzz? The Museum of Surrey in downtown Cloverdale has partnered with the Honeybee Centre for its latest family friendly feature exhibition — BEES! This bilingual (French/English) exhibit, funded in part by Canadian Heritage, inspires respect for bees and shows how bee health is an indicator of the health of the whole environment.

“I am pleased that this bilingual exhibit will be travelling across Canada after closing at Museum of Surrey,” said Museum of Surrey Manager Lynn Saffery. “It’s interactive and fun for visitors of all ages, but also learning on topics such as indigenous bees, beekeeping equipment, bee products, and how bees are represented (or misrepresented) in popular culture.”
